ANOE
Weddings and private celebrations  ·  France

Celebrations designed with intention, remembered for how they felt.

ANOE plans and designs weddings and private gatherings across France. Concept, sourcing, production and orchestration are held by one house, from the first idea to the last hour of the last day.

01 The house

A celebration is not simply seen. It is felt.

We work with a small number of families each year, from the first idea to the last hour of the last day.

Most of what a guest remembers cannot be photographed: the ease of arriving, the quality of a silence before a toast, the fact that dinner began exactly when the light was right. ANOE designs that layer with the same seriousness usually reserved for what is visible.

About the house
WeddingsA weekend composed as one continuous experience
Private gatheringsDinners, birthdays, anniversaries, proposals
One teamDesign and production never argue with each other
One offerWritten for the project, no packages or tiers
02 What we take on

Two ways of celebrating, one standard.

The scope is written for each project. What never changes is the level of attention, whether the room holds two hundred people or eight.

A weekend composed as one continuous experience.

Welcome dinner, wedding day, the morning after, and everything that holds them together.

02  /  Private Gatherings

The same intention, at a more intimate scale.

Dinners, milestone birthdays, anniversaries, proposals and celebratory weekends, approached with the same attention as a wedding.

03 The ANOE approach

Design that begins with the place, not with a palette.

Every decision has a reason to exist. The venue, the season, the story and the feeling you are after come first; colours, materials and rhythm follow from them.

Read the method
01

Intention

Nothing is added to fill a space. Each choice answers a reason that can be named.

02

Sense of place

The architecture, the light and the season feed the design instead of being covered by it.

03

Guest experience

Invitation, arrival, rhythm, meals and the day after are designed as one continuous journey.

04

Flawless execution

Timings, plans, partners and contingencies are held so tightly that nothing shows.

Process

Five movements, every time.

Precision creates freedom. The structure exists so that the day can be lived, not managed.

The full method
01

Listen

Questions before proposals. Who is coming, and what the day should feel like.

02

Imagine

One direction, argued and drawn: the shape of the days and the design intent.

03

Curate

Venue, makers, chefs and craftspeople selected one by one. Fewer options, better argued.

04

Orchestrate

Retroplanning, contracts, floor plans, timings and a team briefed to the minute.

05

Let it live

On the day, the plan disappears and you are entirely present inside it.

04 Sense of place

A French way of receiving.

Long tables, unhurried meals, stone that holds the heat of the day, linen that softens with use. ANOE works throughout France, with a sensibility shaped in Provence.

Hospitality is a discipline, not a decoration.

05 Journal

Notes on celebration.

Written slowly, published rarely: what we have learned about places, tables and the hours nobody photographs.
